BookDragon Version 4.0.0 Released

We've been busy over the summer updating the UI for iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, making BookDragon feel like a whole new app!

BookDragon has a new app icon, designed to look great in light, dark, clear, or tinted modes.

Search has been completely updated with a new UI and moved to the bottom tab bar for iOS users, so finding books in your library is easier than ever.

Progress bars have an updated UI for reading progress and goals.

Widgets have an updated UI for reading streaks and goals in light mode.

You can now add the number of paperback and hardcover copies for all your books.

Book notes now support different fonts, sizes, style, and other formatting options such as bullets. These options are also available with the menu bar in iPadOS 26.

iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 are the new minimum operating system requirements.

We've also made some under the hood performance enhancements and fixed the following bugs:

-Fixed in search and books in progress tabs where an incorrect book may be brought up when tapped

-Fixed the sort and filter buttons in the library and finished tabs to always stay visible, even if no books are viewable

-Fixed where editing a book loaned may have caused an endless loop of alerts
